Good news for multiple property owners!!

The Israeli Supreme Court has thrown out a law imposing a tax on owners of multiple housing units. The law, passed by the Knesset last December, imposed a 1% tax on rental income for property owners with three or more housing units in Israel. The 1% tax, which is capped at a maximum of 18,000 shekels per year, is in addition to existing taxes on income from rent. The court ruled that the drafting and passage of the law were fundamentally problematic.
