1- VAT now 18% - As of June 1st 2013, the V.A.T in Israel is now 18%

2- NIS 100,000 Grant – Until October 31, 2013, there is a NIS 100,000 grant toward the purchase of an apartment in Jerusalem given to an Israeli citizen, purchasing for the 1st time, age- 30+ years old.  The grant is only for properties up to NIS 1,800,000.
